A lot of restaurants in Louisville serve some halal food. A halal chicken option, a halal line on a mostly-not-halal menu, a kitchen where the same grill handles everything. That arrangement asks you to trust a boundary you cannot see.
Mirage does not have that boundary, because there is nothing on the other side of it. Every meat on our menu is halal: the beef and chicken shawarma, the chicken, lamb and kefta kabobs, the lamb chops, the gyro, the kibbeh, the chicken tenders on the kids' menu. There is no second menu and no separate prep. If it is on the board, you can order it.

Halal dining is often a group decision, and groups rarely eat the same way. Our Vegetarian Specialties section runs to five plates - Grilled Vegetables ($11.95), Vegetarian Kalaya ($11.95), Mujadara ($10.95), Salad Platter ($10.95) and the Falafel Plate ($10.95) - alongside vegetarian starters like hummus, baba ghanouj, falafel and stuffed grape leaves.

We are at 4100 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213, with free parking on site, a dining room, and an outdoor patio when the weather cooperates. We are a few minutes from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) and easy to reach from Audubon Park, Okolona and the whole Preston Highway corridor.
Open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 8:30pm, and Sunday 11am to 7pm. The full menu is served all day.
